Forms

The latest versions of the forms and templates are listed below. Before submitting your development application or change application, ensure you are using the most up-to-date versions.

The lists below provide the main statutory forms, as well as accompanying templates and checklists.

Planning applications within a Development Control Plan

Until 26 April 2025, applications within a Development Control Plan are required to be made in accordance with the repealed Integrated Planning Act 1997 (IPA). For a full list of IPA forms, guidelines and implementation notes, please contact the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning via BestPlanning@dsdilgp.qld.gov.au.

View Development Control Plans for more information.

Further advice

Applicants are encouraged to seek advice from their relevant local government (as the assessment manager) or from a qualified town planner before lodging a development application.

Where the state government is involved as either a referral agency or the assessment manager, pre-lodgement advice can be obtained by contacting the State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA) through the regional office closest to you.
