Ministerial call-ins
The Planning Minister has powers that can be enacted in response to development applications that relate to state interests.
Ministerial call-ins are used only in exceptional circumstances.
This power protects economic and environmental state interests. It also ensures Queensland's development assessment system remains efficient, effective, transparent, integrated, coordinated and accountable.
All applications that have been called in, as well as applications for which a proposed call-in notice has been given, can be viewed below.
