Plan-making dashboard

The plan-making dashboard tracks and displays information about local government plan-making processes across the state.

This interactive tool displays the 'real time' status of plan-making processes, including:

key dates
local planning scheme title
plan-making process description
roles and responsibilities of those involved.

The dashboard includes information on all plan-making processes undertaken since commencement of the Planning Act 2016 that have been lodged with the state government’s Planning Group.

If you would like to find out more about any of the activities in the dashboard or any other plan-making activities, we recommend you contact the relevant local government or regional Planning Group office.

Temporary local planning instruments (TLPI) made by the Minister under the Planning Act are not currently available on the dashboard but can be viewed here.

If a local government is in the early stages of preparing a local planning instrument or amendment, it might not appear in the plan-making dashboard until the local government has formally commenced the statutory process for making or amending the instrument and advised the state government.
